Dear friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for our family and ministry. Karen and I had the privilege of visiting friends and relatives in southern Ontario during the past two weeks and were blessed to see and hear what the Lord is doing in their lives. At the same time, we saw that believers are in the midst of a ferocious spiritual battle, as the enemy seeks to cause division in churches and turmoil in families and individuals.
At the Missions conference at Redeemer Bible Church in Niagara Falls last weekend, we had the joy of seeing our friend, Allan McGuirl, co-founder of Galcom, and learned that there has been a change in plans regarding the location of the FM station to be established in Quebec. By God’s grace, the station will be in Lachute (about an hour northwest of Montreal), with 100 repeater stations across the province. Please pray that a meeting next month with the CRTC (a federal government agency), would result in a license being granted for this station. We are looking forward to providing broadcasts of “La Voix de l’Évangile” for this outreach.
Earlier this month, in considering how God changes us when we turn from sin, I prepared the following acrostic:
Confess –“That if you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” – Romans 10:9
Abide in Christ – “Abide in Me, and I in you … without Me you can do nothing.” – John 15:4-5
Never forget to follow Christ – “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
Give yourself to the Lord – “… offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God …” – Romans 12:1
Exalt the Lord – “Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.” – Psalm 34:3
