La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.

Aches and Praise Two Hundred & Eighty One
Last week I wrote that I was having some pain in my left leg and yesterday I went to my family doctor to have it checked. I was relieved to hear his diagnosis of it being a pulled muscle and a few hours later, I was very glad to hear that a lady in eastern Quebec has been praying for me and Karen. After asking people to pray for Carol (in Mexico) and Sandy (in France) who were scheduled to have operations last week, we received word that the surgeries went well.
This week I have been reading an excellent book entitled “You Can Profit From Stress” by Dr. Gary Collins. It was written forty years ago and contains many timeless truths from God’s Word and helpful, practical advice. Although the year is less than a month old, there have already been many things come our way to challenge us physically, emotionally and relationally.
This month, Pastor Michel Martel is giving a series of messages about prayer in the weekly radio broadcasts of “La Voix de l’Évangile.” How wonderful it is to know that the Holy Spirit lives in each believer, helping us to pray and comforting us in the midst of life’s pressures.
