La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.

Aches and Praise Seven Hundred and Fourteen
This morning, I received a phone call from Brian Reimer in Winnipeg. He and his wife, Lynn, have handled the distribution of the radio ministry of “La Voix de l’Évangile” for several decades. He said that there was a possibility of snow in the coming days. Before he called, I had looked at the forecast for the next few days here and saw that there was a 30% chance of rain today and a higher percentage of rain on the weekend. Karen and I wanted to work outside and started to get some stuff done before the rain began. Guess what? The sky was clear and the rain did not come here.

We thank the Lord for Will, who phoned to encourage us as we were unable to be at church with him on Sunday. Last week, Karen got a phone call from our neighbour who saw that the drapes in the living room were closed during the day to keep the sunlight from striking Karen`s eyes. She offered to help if Karen needed anything. Today, when I was outside putting materials in the bin to recycle, Jennifer asked if she could borrow the slide that our grandchildren played on when they were younger. It will be fun to see her granddaughter use it.
It was also encouraging to receive a phone call this morning from a friend in Montreal who is in a French-speaking church that has supported the follow-up ministry for many years. When we have given reports in that church, it has been great to see people from many countries. May the truth of God`s Word continue to bring light to those who walk in darkness.
